We have been at the Millennium Series Paintball Tournament at the Nürburgring over the weekend where we presented some selected OWN-CLOTHING designs to various “Big-Players” in the paintball industry, we have received some cool feedback and are looking forward to making a big “Splat” in the colorful and messy paintball world.

On to Upstart Blogger where the Avon Blake discussion continues. Ashley plays the devils advocate in a thought provoking post regarding the Open Source aspects of WordPress and the Free Premium versus Paid Premium Themes issue. I tend to agree with the argument that the people offering “Paid” themes (which are often based on open source codebases) are the real thieves and that Avon Blakes intention to take such a theme, modify it and release it for free is a valid Robin Hood kind of statement against those who offer shameless copies of open source “software” at ridiculous prices. Smashing Magazine have compiled a list of top font management tools (as someone constantly fighting font chaos this is always an interesting subject) Although the list contains most of the well known commercial tools for MAC and WIN there are a handful of interesting links to freeware solutions for font addicts like myself check out the post here
