whoops-there goes another…

…huge chunk of my “Web 1.0 Anonymity”!! I have been online since ´95 – back in the days it was not only cool to be anonymous but often highly recommended… Nowadays with the “Implementation” and “Implications” of Web 2.0 and the Social Networking BOOM it would seem logical to leave behind the Paranoia and jump right in there and make the biggest splash possible. My slowly but surely improving “Blog-Statz” seem to reinforce this theory that “More is More”. Today I have created another half a dozen accounts on some of the cool “services” out there not only with the intention of improving my pageviews, clickthroughs and whaddeva, but also because some of them are downright useful, or simply just fun. However I still can´t help but feel a little uneasy (to say the least) about the steadily increasing size of my web “footprint” and the increased possibilities that this offers to the spammers, hackers, phishers and all the other web gangsters out there – juvenile idiots or eastern bloc mafia – they are all the same to me and I would prefer to be in “stealth-mode” as far as these dubious characters are concerned. For the rest of you people out there I still prefer to be known as countzeero (my virtual pseudo iD since 1995) or The Count (as I have become known to a few Real Life Friends) for the simple reason that anyone who I don´t know personally does not need to know my name, address & telephone number – period. Of course if anyone wants to offer me work (especially lucrative contracts in exotic locations) or a free macbook then just send me a mail and I will get right back to you. For those of you who are just curious about what I do (on the web) then take a look at my MyBlogLog profile (countzeero) or stare at some of my “Art” at Th3C0unt. You can also find me (you guessed it-countzeero) at: Tumblr, StumbleUpon, Digg, LastFM… the list is fast becoming endless – Just google “countzeero” (with 2 ee´s) and you are sure to find me and some of the breadcrumbs that I have left behind on my haphazard wanderings through the internet.
A couple of tasty (if a little stale) Zemantic linkz:
